The Ministry for Foreign Affairs supports Finnish non-governmental organisations’ (NGOs) development cooperation and information activities with approximately 84 million euros in 2009. NGOs can also apply for support for for project preparatory missions and travel costs resulting from participation in international conferences by representatives of developing countries.
The private sector and public administration participate in implementing development programms in the partner countries. Annually several tenders are published.
