Finland's representation in international organisations and courts of justice

Finland is represented in several international organizations and cooperation bodies and has:

• a Permanent Representation to the European Union (EU) in Brussels
• a Permanent Representation to the Council of Europe (COE) in Strasbourg
• a Permanent Mission to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in Vienna
• a Permanent Mission to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris
• a Permanent Mission to the United Nations (UN) in New York and Geneva
• a Permanent Mission to the World Trade Organization (WTO) and other international organizations in Geneva
• a Mission to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in Brussels.

In addition, Finland has

• a Permanent Representative in the Western European Union (WEU)
• a Permanent Delegation to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Paris
• a Permanent Representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) as well as other UN organizations in Vienna
• a Permanent Representative to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in The Hague
• a Permanent Representative to United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP)
• a Permanent Representative to United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT)
• a Permanent Representative to the African Union (AU)

In addition to actual international organisations, Finland is represented in international courts of justice and legal organisations as follows:

• UN International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague
• UN International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague
• UN International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague
• Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) in the Hague
• Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH).
